My Students
Technology is an integral part of education, my students would rather tweet their life then say it out loud.
My students are a diverse group of kids.
The inner city mentality has certainly affected the way they view life, therefore, I am trying to integrate a positive component. My students think it is probably a joke or unheard of to have a iMac in the classroom.
My Project
The students will be using the iMac to create a school wide newspaper. This will allow them to become familiar with the world around them and hopefully know that sharing their voice and opinion is important. Students will be able to create and foster learning by drafting their own newspaper using the iMac.
My students truly have lived their lives on promises that are never made.
This could truly show them that they are worth having something such as an iMac. Students will have a sense of faith in society once again.
