Help me give my students manipulatives to help build their base ten knowledge in math and compare the weight of objects as well as activities for my students to practice Earth, Life and Physical Science.
A typical day in my classroom includes very busy five and six year old children. Some of my students come from low-income homes. We are a small Title I school where many of our families qualify for free or reduced lunch prices.
My students are very active and love to have hands-on activities during learning.
The faculty and staff at our school work year round to ensure the success of all of our students. It truly takes a village and our school works closely together to help every one of the students in every way possible.
These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by keeping them interested and engaged in math and science lessons. With these materials I will be helping my students to build their base ten knowledge and compare the weights of objects in math. The science activities will allow students to explore earth science, life science and physical science with their classmates or independently. Students will be able to learn while engaged and completing games.
My students love math and science and love having hands on activities when learning!
These materials will excite my students to want to learn more!
