My students need five Chromebook laptops and mice to help facilitate technology in the classroom and give access to Google Classroom for a more streamlined and exciting learning avenue.
Located in a rural town of just over 1,000 people lies a little elementary school that exudes community pride; home of the Eagles and the most incredible students you'll meet! As a Title I school and located in a high-poverty area, these students thrive by coming to school to experience new and exciting opportunities that can be missed at home.
These students work hard and strive to be their best in all that they do to make a difference in their community.
Teachers work to bring the best instruction possible to a town that many have never heard of. Our students deserve the best because they know they are limitless when it comes to achieving their goals in and outside of the classroom!
My Project
Imagine a world without technology- that is pretty difficult to picture isn't it? That's because our entire world revolves around the digital age. Every day more innovations are created in the world of technology. Our students need to have access to this at all costs. We are creating our future in our classrooms and I want them to be the most prepared and engaged as ever in our world.
Google Classroom is the way of our future innovators and learners in our classrooms.
As we move forward in the educational world, teachers strive to create the best and most proficient learning environment possible for their students. This includes incorporating technology throughout every aspect of our day. With these Chromebooks, my students will have access to a learning world created by me and targeted for each individual student through Google Classroom. This is a virtual experience for assigning and completing work throughout the various subject areas. Gone are the days of endless copies and makeup work that can't be accessed unless the student is at school! Not to mention, immediate feedback on assignments and tests to help teachers target their remediation and enrichment lessons.
Students will complete digital interactive notebooks, quizzes, papers, reports, presentations, and many other technology enhanced lessons by using Google Classroom through the Chromebooks I've requested. These Chromebook laptops would serve as an extraordinary tool to help students research and implement technology within their learning. From writing exercises and reading work stations to math games and science exploration. Having these Chromebooks would open a world of possibilities.
