Future Food Service Chef, Managers & Entrepreneurs
My students need Monetary Donations, Cleaning Supplies, Large and Small Industry Standard Equipment donations, Chef Coats, Chef Demonstrations, Field Trip Transportation & Admission Fees, Perishables, Professional Development Opportunities & Participation Fees.
Students in this class come from a variety of different backgrounds and grade levels. They enroll in the ROP Hospitality Pathway to experience "hands on" training in hospitality management, cooking, nutrition and food safety that will help prepare them for "Real World" Career opportunities in the Food Service/Hospitality & Culinary Field.
Our Classroom was originally a Home Economics Class equip with Formica and Tile counter-tops, old school home cook pots, pans and utensils; our goal is to replace these items
The GE Ranges will be used by students to execute cooking labs, recipe demonstrations and true to life hands on training. Students are trained in how to use equipment safely and correctly to the specs of the industry. The Brother Printer will be used to print out resumes and cover letters to place in their professional portfolios.
Our Classroom was once a Home Economics Class; and now that it is used for Professional Culinary and Hospitality Training the equipment and tools used should meet the standards of the industry.
