Future Farmers Need Greenhouse Supplies

My students need potting benches, planter boxes, and other greenhouse supplies to get our new greenhouse up and running.

My Students

Our students come from multiple small towns in rural Maine. We have a variety of economic backgrounds with over 70% of our students receiving free or reduced lunch. Our school serves students in grades 7-12 and provides rigorous academics, caring teachers, and a safe learning environment.

Our students are amazing, hardworking, and very creative.

In our small school, students wear many hats in various athletic clubs, school clubs, and leadership groups. These various opportunities create well rounded students who are successful after graduation.

My Project

Thank you to DonorsChoose.org and the all the wonderful donors. We had a greenhouse funded for our school and now we need supplies to get our greenhouse up and running.

Our greenhouse project needs potting benches and other start up supplies for students to begin exploring, researching, and planting.

Students need planting boxes to grow their plants, gardening tool to plant their seeds, and hoses to water their crops.

Our greenhouse project will teach students life lessons of how to maintain a greenhouse and how they can grow their own food. Greenhouse activities will give students exposure to careers in field of agriculture.
