This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager and curious to learn. I want to provide age-appropriate materials that will help many of their developing skills.
Children at this age learn through senses, and they learn best hands-on and have fun at the same time.
My Project
By donating to our project, you will be helping my students to discover all the fun possibilities that STEM has to offer. I believe that when children are interested and feel successful in the classroom, learning follows.
Using these materials - magnatiles, blocks, and an engineering center - my students will make predictions, follow directions, create original structures, and practice persistence.
The materials that I am requesting will bring students socially as well. When students work in groups they persist and become confident. Building materials will help my students' problem-solving and motivation.
Motivation can boost learning. When children are interested and feel successful in the classroom, learning follows.
