Future Engineers: Building Bright Minds Through STEM!
Help me give my students STEM materials like Lakeshore Magnetic Design Center, Lakeshore Engineer-A-Coaster Activity Kit, and Lakeshore Create-A-Path Magnetic Center.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is a Title I school, with 77.2% of our students coming from low-income backgrounds. In my classroom, which includes both general education and special education students, each child brings unique strengths and challenges. I strive to use a variety of teaching methods to create an engaging and meaningful learning experience for all. My students are creative, eager to learn, and full of potential. They have a passion for building and creating, and they thrive when working with STEM materials, using their curiosity and problem-solving skills to bring their ideas to life. Their enthusiasm for learning and willingness to tackle new challenges make them truly special, and I am committed to providing them with every opportunity to reach their full potential.

The STEM materials like Lakeshore Magnetic Design Center, Lakeshore Engineer-A-Coaster Activity Kit, and Lakeshore Create-A-Path Magnetic Center will provide my students with hands-on opportunities to explore engineering concepts, problem-solving, and creativity, empowering them to become the engineers of tomorrow. These resources will allow them to build, design, and experiment—turning abstract ideas into real-world applications and fostering a deeper understanding of how things work. By engaging in hands-on STEM activities, they will develop critical thinking, teamwork, and perseverance, essential skills for future success in an ever-evolving world.
My goal is to ignite a passion for STEM by providing my students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences. I want them to see themselves as innovators, problem-solvers, and future engineers. Through this project, I aim to build their confidence in STEM subjects, encourage curiosity, and foster a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
