Help me give my students by purchasing these crafting items. Students create jewelry and crochet/knit items and we sell them at basketball and football games to raise funds.
The students in my club are freshmen through seniors. They range in age from fourteen to nineteen. These students are all in my club chapter called Educators Rising. Educators Rising is an organization for students interested in becoming a teacher.
My students are interested in researching different college programs that will fit their educational needs of becoming educators.
They enjoy college visits and attending conferences offering a deep understanding of what different the areas they will want to teach look like.
My Project
Students have been creating jewelry, knitting, and crocheting items that we sell at basketball, football, and wrestling events. Students can take items home to work on or work on them at our weekly meeting every Wednesday.
With the funds the students raise they are able to purchase club professional shirts that are needed to attend conferences that teach about a variety of teaching careers they are interested in.
They are also using these funds to pay travel expenses to get to conferences and pay for their club national and state dues.
