Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are artistic and creative in ways we cannot even imagine. They will sometimes surprise you in the extent of their hidden talents that go beyond what they were taught in an art lesson, and those are the best ways to discover the artist in them. The materials you are helping to purchase with your generous donations will help to extract the creative energy in students, while also helping to inspire other students who may not feel as creative.

Artistic and creative students are born and created every day, and we can help children find their hidden creativity if we can provide them with the materials they need to help bring out their naturally creative imaginations.

Creative Art time needs to be more about the lesson than the art supplies that public schools are able to provide students. The Art supplies I'm requesting in this project are sturdy, practical, and durable enough to last for years to come. Students will remember their year in my Kinder/First grade combination class as one where they were able to express themselves artistically and had the quality Art supplies with which to be their Artist selves. Thank you for your generous donations.
