My Project

I am currently teaching at a Title I school in Chico, California. 71 percent of the students qualify for the free and reduced-price lunch program. I would love to teach a cooking class so I can utilize my fresh garden goods to inspire the kids to cook their own healthy foods at home.

I need a few cooking gadgets so I can start my cooking class this spring.

Students love to cook! It empowers them, and it is also a wonderful life skill. I taught Home Economics at a Jr. High and witnessed the excitement when a student actually prepared a meal on their own. I will use the new cooking materials to have an after-school cooking class. So fun!
