My Project
Our curious learners are always finding the most unusual things when they're out exploring the world. They love to bring in their treasures from nature to share with our class. I hope to give our Tiny Scientists the ability to view small things on a digital microscope to keep their inquisitive minds active.
Neil deGrasse Tyson said, "Scientific inquiry shouldn't stop just because a reasonable explanation has apparently been found." There are many things we can teach by simply telling students how things work.
Science is something they can explore and make their own reasons about how the world works!
I am requesting live plants and insects/animals to liven up our room with real living things. One of the biggest attention grabbers in my classroom is the stick insects, worms, and fish tank. I hope to bring in more living things to help foster our students' natural curiosity of natural things.
If we nurture and cultivate curious scientific minds at a young age, there will be more interest in these subjects later on. I hope to create children who grow up asking more questions about the world instead of learning answers to questions we already know. "Science isn't about why. It's about why not!?" - Cave Johnson
