Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

4th-8th grade is such an amazing group of mixed interests, abilities, goal setters, and over achievers. Some of my students are learning on the next skilled level in cheerleading and having the ability to display the understandings in the different levels of tumbling and stunting . Our group loves to create different chants and team building skills in order for our team to be successful in upcoming competition!!

My Project

In order for our school cheerleaders to have a successful competition season, we need to become equipped with the proper resources and materials. Having these gym mats will allow us to practice stunts, tumbling, and routines full out opposed to marking through certain part of the routine because of safety measures.

Because these mats not only allows safer practices, it allows the athletes to adjust to the square footage of the competition flooring that we will compete on.

Please help build the safe environment that is needed for these athletes.
