Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are anxious to learn and become smarter everyday. With uneven old desks, it is sometimes impossible to have effective collaborative learning tables. Desks can sometimes become too much of a distraction.

My students are in a 3,4,5th grade self-contained special education class.

They are currently using mismatched desks and are often a challenge to make into groups. Many students in my classroom struggle with social interactions and this will allow students to be able to communicate more effectively. These desks would allow my students to have more effective collaborative work but also allow them to be able to separate for independent work.

My Project

My students will be able to use them this year and for the future classes I teach. These desks would be the central part of our classroom and used for every activity we do in class. They will be able to do all of their learning here and be able to continue to grow as learners!

Our classroom will be a more accessible place for collaborative work.

The students will be able to work together more and build better relationships with their classmates. These desks would be a dream come true!
