Our classroom is a big believer in student led lessons and having a student led classroom. Having a new adjustable laptop stand helps the students when facilitating a presentation or when they win teacher assistant, which is one of our incentives for the week. Having the chairs will help our students be comfortable talking in front of the classroom during their presentations as well as when they are our teacher assistant. In third grade, it is important to start the process of public speaking to get students comfortable in front of the classroom. These items will help them become more comfortable with that task.
