Furnishing the Future:Creating a Safer, Stronger Steam Lab for Scholars

Help me give my students a safe, welcoming, and functional STEAM Lab where they can explore, create, and grow with sturdy tables for building, flexible seating for collaboration, and cozy corners for reading and reflection.

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and full of potential. As their STEAM Lab educator, I’m passionate about preparing them with 21st-century skills, critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation so they can become the problem solvers our world needs. In our lab, we explore soil science, plant in our garden, care for chickens and turtles, and build real-world engineering projects.

However, our current furniture presents challenges.

The tables are uneven and no longer support the level of hands-on learning we strive for each day. Replacing them will help create a more stable and functional environment where students can safely explore and engage.

We’re also requesting Seat Sack storage pockets to keep materials organized and within reach, which will reduce clutter and maximize time for creativity and discovery.

With your support, we can transform our STEAM Lab into a space where young innovators feel supported, inspired, and ready to change the world.
