My Students

My students are the definition of high needs. In our school, 25% of our students are homeless and 93% receive free or reduced-price lunch. My students live in a historically Black community and often are not exposed to the city outside of their neighborhood. Our campus is in temporary buildings and does not have a library.

We are proud of our 3rd Ward Heritage and strive to build community among our students.

My students bring so much joy to my day and truly work hard!

My Project

I shopped for the cutest and funkiest erasers and pencils. I plan to pass these out when kids are excelling and surpassing our expectations. They will serve as little, unexpected treats when they aren't watching. I can't wait to pass these little trinkets out to my high flying students. Whether they are silent in line, acing assignments, or going beyond Z, they will have a little treat waiting for them.

My kids love little presents!

What better way to reward our best kids than with little, fun surprises. School supplies are the best little presents to give our little KIPPsters!
