This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project contains books that will allow my general ed, special ed, and ESOL students to look at and read books that they can relate to. The books are based on popular interests within my kindergarten students.

I believe these books will encourage my students to look at books, begin to read and or enjoy reading books of topics they like.

These leveled reading books will also give my diverse students the opportunity to apply decoding skills to enhance their language and vocabulary. The vibrant pictures in these books will support their comprehension.
