My Project

COVID-19 has had a long-term impact on my third-grade students. They missed out on face-to-face instruction and socialization during some of the most pivotal years of their lives. I have found that my class this year struggles to effectively collaborate with one another.

Skills such as organization and collaboration will be built upon with the materials in this project to prosper functional learners.

The chair storage pockets will allow for my students to keep their learning spaces better organized. The customizable dry-erase paddle boards will invite collaborative learning with their ability to be utilized in various ways. For example, the boards will give students the space to share their thinking with their peers during turn-and-talk time or share-outs.
