My Students

My school is made up mostly of children with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitive, or other special needs.

My students are full of life and energy; and they are fun, loving, caring, and wild.

They want to learn and grow and it can be hard for my students who have learning disabilities and/or are on the spectrum. This does not stop them from trying to do their best. They each have their own goals that they want to achieve. They just need a bit of a boost.

My Project

It is important for students to access sensory bins, binders, etc. it is also important for it not to be a distraction. These storage options will help prevent students from being visually distracted by the items on the shelves. The lock will further assist them to keep them on task. The bench will give students a place to have a break and can also hold storage in bins.

My students are all uniquely neurodivergent and these shelves will provide ample support for their learning experience.

I will be moving into a new classroom next school year and am in great need of an adequate environment for success.
