Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am the teacher of a mild-moderate special education class, filled with 15 amazing 2nd-5th graders, who I would love to give the gift of new classroom furniture to.
Our classroom has never had enough flexible seating, (let alone a matching set) and I am hopeful this new school year I can surprise them with functional furniture that speaks to their needs!
I am asking for a set of 15 Cavilever chairs, to allow 1 for each student. Additionally, I am asking for 10 wobble stools to supply our 2 small group areas with 5 chairs each. Lastly, I am requesting a bean bag chair for our calming corner. This is an area where students go for a break when feeling overwhelmed and need help getting back on track.
