My Project
I have the pleasure of teaching at an all-girls school. The vision of the school is to develop globally-conscious college and career-ready STEMinists. I teach Physics, and I enjoy having the opportunity to help the ladies explore the physical world in which they live.
Help us acquire items for our lab space so that students can see and experience Physics as scientists.
We need more equipment for our Physics experiments. The lab already has a number of kits from various vendors. I would like to improve our supply with individual items to fill in the gaps, like metric tape measures. We are also in need of larger items to allow us to explore topics like rotational motion and fluids, which has recently been added to AP Physics 1. All of this will develop more functional memories for the students and improve their understanding of the world around them.
