Help Me Give My Students the Gift of Literacy Manipulatives!
As a first-year, first-grade teacher at a Title I school, I am committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment for all my students.
I believe that hands-on learning is vital for developing literacy skills, which is why I’m seeking to build a collection of literacy manipulatives and center activities to support diverse learning styles.
Literacy manipulatives, such as letter tiles, word cards, and storytelling props, enable students to explore reading and writing in interactive ways. These tools help children visualize words, improve phonemic awareness, and enhance their overall understanding of language. In my classroom, I want to ensure that every student, regardless of their learning level, has access to resources that can support their growth.
