Fun With Finances!

My students need board games to show finances in a fun and interactive way. These games are easy to learn and will allow my special needs students to join in the fun.

My Students

I teach Financial Literacy which is a required course to graduate at our school. This means we teach EVERY student! This is a wide range of ability levels and we are a diverse population both economically as well as culturally.

I love that every student has something to learn in this class and that they are excited to learn something they "will really use" in life.

Our funds are very limited. We have not passed a school levy in over a dozen years. We don't even provide bus transporation. But our kids are still get excited about lessons that involve money! Typical teens!

My Project

The board game Pay Day and the stock market simulation game Pit will give my students a fun way to learn and discuss the different things that happen in life when dealing with finances.

These finance games will allow ALL students to participate no matter what age or ability level.

This will help get them excited about money matters and give us a starting point to discuss real world financial problems.

The binder tab dividers will be used to keep each finance unit organized. Even in high school students still need help with organizational skills. I don't want to add to their class fees so I would like help with getting the tab dividers.
