My Project

Our first graders live in a rural community in northeastern South Dakota. Even though we live in a small town, our students are just like any other first graders. They are energetic, creative, full of personality, and love to learn. Our goal as first grade teachers is to instill a love of learning in our students.

Tonies characters are a fun way to help students build vocabulary and work on their listening skills.

Our students love listening to and learning from the small selection of Tonies characters that we have at this time. We, as a first grade team, would love to expand our selection of characters for our students to choose from. This will give them more topics to learn from while enjoying the animated stories within each character.

Please help us ignite our students' imaginations and creativity while building vocabulary and knowledge through the use of Tonies characters.

Mrs. Johnson will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 25.
