Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a Title I school where most students come from low-income or poverty-stricken homes. All of the students receive free or reduced-rate lunch. Most are English Language Learners, while some have special needs. These students come to school eager to learn every day with big smiles on their faces, regardless of their circumstances. I want to help these students in every way that I can in order for them to be successful in reaching their goal of developing their skills, and of course, have fun! I am very excited to start the school year with my brand new group of kiddos! I cannot wait to learn, grow, laugh, and have fun with my class!

For my project, I would like to welcome my students with a fun bag that will correspond with our class theme: Dr. Seuss.

The bags will be handed out during our Open House and it will include a mini notepad, a silly pencil, and a squishy toy. The Dr. Seuss pencils, activity books, and bracelets will be given to them on their birthday. Thank you so much!
