Help me give my students choice in their learning! These items will provide my students an opportunity to be creative while at the same time soak in the 3rd grade content!
My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. My students love learning and are eager to explore new topics!
Our school is family focused.
Since this is a kindergarten through twelve grade school, we are able to really get to know our students and their families.
We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, small group settings, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are an incredible group of kids and I'm thrilled to be learning alongside my students.
My Project
I love for my students to be able to play games while they learn. Not only are students able to work together to understand the skills that are being taught but it helps them to practice valuable social skills of sharing, cooperation, and leadership. I have noticed my students learn best when they are able to play and discover. Having tools such as mental math and fraction games are the perfect resources for practicing.
Children need to have the freedom to explore and move while learning.
The yoga balls allow my students to move around the room and to get their wiggles out when needed.
