Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Each day my students are eager to sit down for circle time, because they know it is a fun learning time! Soon after they sit down they are all fighting over personal space on the carpet because there just is not enough room for my twenty children plus three children who come in for inclusion time.

Each of my children enjoy a good story, and a classroom can never have enough books.

We read at least one story each day, and certainly do not have an overload of books in our classroom. My students would love to have the chance to read brand new books both during circle time and in the classroom library. My students are always looking to gain more knowledge in any way they can. I personally think that it is spectacular to have children so interested in books, and the easiest way to keep their interest is by giving them more and more books to look through and read!

My Project

If you choose to sponsor our classroom, my students will have a better focus during circle time because they will not be fighting for their personal space. My students will also be exposed to more knowledge thorough the books that will be loved, cared for, and read over and over again!

My preschool students are our future; we need to make sure they are educated to the best of our ability!

I doing my part to ensure they are gaining the best possible education in preschool, but I continually need more fun and exciting materials to keep things interesting!
