This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarten students are curious, busy, creative, and super sweet. They are so excited to come to school to learn, play, and explore! My students are from diverse backgrounds both culturally and economically. My students vary both in academic and social-emotional needs. My goal is to create a classroom environment where my students are engaged and feel safe as many come from trauma backgrounds.

My Project

I like getting ideas from the website Teachers Pay Teachers when planning my lessons. There are thousands of activities, games, crafts, etc. that directly align with the lessons my students are learning. I enjoy implementing these supplemental resources that can be used in any subject area. The activities are engaging and visually appealing for my young learners. My favorite part is that Teachers Pay Teachers have resources that are created by teachers for teachers.

I would love to have access to a variety of engaging activities for my students using a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card.

The activities I choose in Teachers Pay Teachers align with our district's curriculum and state standards, are engaging, and are age appropriate for my kindergarten students.
