Fun Seating for 4th Grade

My Project

My fourth graders are a group that love to move around the room. They like to collaborate with their classmates as much as they can, and part of that requires seating that is easily movable to different spots in our room. This project has stools that I think will help them move around. I have a large table at the back of my room, and many students love to work there. I think these stools would be the perfect size to fit students around this table when we do book clubs. My students are constantly wanting to work with their book club groups to discuss their reading and assignments, and this will make it more accessible for them to do so. I also included comfortable cushions for students who prefer to work on the floor. They enjoy the cushions I currently have, and I know they will love these as well. When we do math, they really enjoy being able to work with larger groups, and these cushions are small, but perfectly sized to use for large groups of students.
