This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students need all the support to improve their phonics skills. We are finishing the school year and we are in need of new supplies to keep our pace. During our phonics block the students write multiples times, not only words but full sentences. This system is necessary in order to improve as readers and writers.
To write we use white boards and markers that make the phonics time more fun and efficient, also we will benefit from a large white board to present the content and to write the new concepts as well to review the old ones.
Our students will appreciate all the support you can bring to them, they are growing a lot and they deserve it. Also, we have new students that arrived from Venezuela and they need lot of support because some of them have never been in a school before.
