Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My school is still very new and has few resources for our students in class. Your donation would help us to get new music and lessons from Teachers Pay Teachers.

These resources will help our students to learn music theory in a fun way.

Specifically, there are Escape Rooms that have been designed to help students review their note-naming skills and rhythm counting. This is a way to make learning fun! It would also allow my students to have small ensemble pieces to play to prepare for their Spring Solo/Ensemble Festival. These pieces allow the students to work on sight-reading skills in small pieces as they work up to larger repertoire pieces.
