it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m planning to create a “Fun Math Corner” in my classroom—a cozy space with a carpet and cushions where students can relax and have fun while practicing math. During designated times, small groups will rotate through this area to play interactive math games. These sessions could be part of the class rotations or offered as a reward for good behavior or progress.
The goal of this project is to make math more engaging and help students improve their math fluency, particularly with times tables.
I believe this playful, hands-on approach will motivate them to enjoy learning and strengthen their math skills in a relaxed environment.
