This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Save our paper! Instead of using paper and pencil to assess a student's understanding of a new concept, imagine how nice it would be to simply ask a question and have the whole class answer at the same time.

These kids come from a Title I school in Texas.

Many of my wonderful students are of low economic status. They are eager to learn and love doing things out of the ordinary. They would certainly benefit from the change of design in formative assessments.

My Project

I have been provided with enough dry erase boards to incorporate this active, fun learning--I simply need the markers and cleaning supplies to implement the lessons. Students thrive on new and interesting ways to learn, and this will provide for some amazing lessons. We will be able to do quick math in whole group, and the markers will also provide a fun way to work with small groups and tutoring.
