These kids come from a diverse school in Texas. Many of my wonderful students are of low economic status. Those who are not receive more pressure to succeed than I ever remember getting as a young student. They are eager to learn and love doing things out of the ordinary. They are also eager to tell their story and spend the necessary time to heal and grow as productive members of society.
