My Project
Students need to create math as they learn. Visual models are amazing ways to help students better understand concepts they are learning. I want my students to be able to create visual math models as keepsakes and mementos of their math learning by designing and creating fun buttons that they can look at and show off beyond the classroom, maybe even give to their friends and families as gifts!
The button maker machine, additional button making supplies and the colorful paper are all needed for students to begin designing and creating their fun math buttons.
My students are amazing people, many of them artists and comedians, some serious and disciplined. I want them all to let their personalities shine in their math designs on the buttons they create.
