Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students miss us as much as we miss them!
My students come from low income communities and depend on our school to meet many of their needs, including materials and meals.
I have been able to connect with the majority of them and their parents send us pictures of them doing their best while they're at home.
My Project
This pandemic has been very hard for us adults and even harder for our students. My students love coming to school and working when they have all the materials they need. In my order I have a caddy for each student, which includes scissors, colors, and other materials so they can complete jobs and projects at home. It is well organized and I am sure it will motivate all my students to do their work and even create other crafts. They will have the opportunity to feel at school even when they are home.
