My first graders have worked hard this school year to learn the phonics skills required to read, and I'd like to reward them with new learning games. I have selected games to reinforce and strengthen the phonics skills taught this school year, such as reading words that have blends and digraphs. CVC word builders and phonics stamps will let the kids learn through play.
To further enhance our learning center activities, I have also requested some practical supplies.
A laminator, lamination sleeves, and colored ink for our class printers will enable me to create and print essential resources such as flashcards, worksheets, and games. These materials are not just tools, but they are the key to unlocking a world of knowledge for my students.
Our school is currently under construction, and there are days when the excavator can be loud, making it difficult to focus. Noise-canceling headphones will reduce noise and help my first graders focus on their classwork, not the construction site's sounds.
