Third grade is an amazing year! Students are learning to become leaders and start to see themselves as people with choices in their education and in their lives. They are transitioning from primary students to elementary students.
My third graders like to laugh and dance and they are also starting to take education seriously.
I want to give my students every opportunity to make the most of their third grade experience. By making learning fun and engaging, students will begin to have a life long love for learning.
My Project
My students need all these small things to help learning happen in a fun and functional way in my classroom. Play dough is for science projects, art and writing. Magnetic dry erase markers are for reading centers. They need a pencil sharpener that will keep them working.
Students are craving the tools to make them think on their own.
Rubics cubes are a quiet way for a student to improve their problem solving skills. Building blocks are a way to foster creativity and social skills, especially during inside recesses in Montana. All of these materials will directly improve the learning atmosphere in my classroom.
