Fun Indoor Recess

Help me give my students an engaging indoor recess when we cannot go out

My Project

Students need time in the morning to get ready for the day filled with learning. If students are able to get time to mentally prepare, they are better settled down and ready to learn. Having these materials in the classroom will help their attention and ability to learn improve. Some of these can be used successfully for a "soft start" such as board games, card games, hands-on items like Play-Doh, STEM toys, etc. I would love to purchase these items but unfortunately, they are expensive to provide.

Providing enough materials for students to play and explore during indoor recess cuts down on poor behaviors and builds social learning skills.
