My students need these outside items to make it a more fun and learning experience! My students need easy grip ball set, a parachute, and an outdoor equipment cart.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are special because they are our youngest of learners and their learning lays the foundation to build upon as their education expands. I have seen my students grow physically and mentally over the course of the year. Watching them learn and their little faces light up is the reason I teach.
I teach at an Early Childhood Center that houses 90% free lunch.
Our school is located in the downtown area. Many of our children do not get the privilege of stepping away from their own neighborhood to experience other cultures and other lifestyles that our community holds. It is because of this and many other reasons that I want to continue to give back to our students.
My Project
I am asking you for your donation to help our children have the nice things needed to play with outside on our playground. Our playground is minimalist at best. We do not get tons of funding for outside equipment for the children to play.
Having a variety of outside equipment encourages cooperative play.
Our children will enjoy using the complete Beanbag center. This is a great learning opportunity that reinforces skills such as learning to recognize letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. We are also asking for a small parachute and a musical CD to help develop a sense of rhythm and strengthen arm and hand muscles. I am also asking to purchase a cart to place these belongings for easy transport to and from the playground.
I want to thank you in advance for helping our children to get the necessary tools they need to flourish.
