My Students
I teach 5th grade Reading, English Language, and Social Studies to 50 students who are amazing children and deserve to receive an A+ education in an A+ environment. My students come eager to learn, they are active, energetic, and love to engage in whatever we are learning about. Despite COVID 19 and budget restraints my goal is to reach every student every day, no matter what it takes. I will do whatever I can to meet each student's needs the best that I can.
My Project
My project will help students advance their learning by giving them meaningful access to digital learning systems both in and out of the classroom. Writing different types of text is a challenge, Scholastic Just Write! will help them gain better writing skills in a more interactive fun way opposed to a worksheet. The students will be able to take the Scholastic Just Write home with them to keep in their home library for a reference.
In addition the games will help them gain better collaboration skills as well as listening and communication skills needed that have been lost during pandemic isolation.
