I am very excited for the 2016-2017 school year. My third grade students are amazing 8 and 9 year-olds who deserve to receive an A+ education in an A+ environment. My school has great teachers, paraprofessionals, and students who work hard every day. My students come eager to learn, they are active and energetic, and love to engage in whatever we are learning about. Kelley Elementary is a Title I school serving over 430 students grades K-6th. Most of my students come from low and middle income families. Many of our students receive free or reduced meals. Much like many Oklahoma school systems, our school system is facing state budget cuts to education which has meant cutting back on even essential items.Despite these budget restraints my goal is to reach every student every day, no matter what it takes. I will do whatever I can to meet each student's needs the best that I can.
