My students are eager to learn and have fun in PE! They are excited to learn things to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle and life long habits to stay physically active that doesn't have to be running or weight lifting.
My Project
I am new to my school this year, in fact I am new to the state in general. I was able to put a wish list of items together for my PE classes sight unseen. My wish list was approved and the amazing knew things are starting to come in. As I have now been teaching my kiddos for a month I am noticing some things that we need or that would also help to enhance their learning abilities. I am asking for a bigger blue tooth speaker. The one I am using is very small and could fit in my pocket. We do many activities with music as well as using it as a start stop signal for the students to start the activity or stop and wait for further instructions. Also I am asking for a blue tooth handsfree microphone. One that I can wear and walk freely through the gym and my students will be able to hear me no matter where they may be. As you can imagine gyms are large and the acoustics are less than perfect. When we are scattered around the gym having fun doing our physical activity it is hard for my students to hear the further away they are. I just want to make it so that everyone has the same opportunity to learn and succeed. I have a loud voice that carries but not in the gym or outside.
