My Students

My students will all be from families with low incomes. One of our missions at TCAP Head Start is to provide students with the highest quality prekindergarten education available regardless of financial struggles. This is my first year in a new classroom and I'm excited to get to know my students. I'm hoping with the help of donors like you, I will be able to make a difference in my students' lives and let them know that the sky is the limit.

My Project

These materials will make a huge difference in our student's day to day life. The classroom decorations will add color and make them feel welcome as they enter the new school year. The new activities will help them explore science in a fun way that also helps their fine motor and social skills (taking turns, making new discoveries, talking about their findings with their classmates). The treasure chest prizes will help us promote positive behavior in the classroom, rewarding our students for making great choices throughout the week. Lastly, our printer will help tremendously as we will be able to print activities and handouts quickly and without leaving the classroom. This will help when a student wants a specific thing printed or when we need to get printed information to their families fast.
