My Project

Continuing my goal to recreate and rebuild my classroom, this project is focusing more on replenishing our afternoon center bins, phonics magnets, and LEGOS! These items will allow me to create a learning environment that is engaging and fun for my kindergarten students, while also making their learning meaningful. Because our walls are all magnetic, the phonics magnets will be used for word work and the gears will be used during afternoon center time. My students love building with the wooden trains and also building with the marble run - so these items would be a great addition for centers. They also love playing with LEGOS, so all the LEGO materials will be used to build our LEGO table for students to use at the end of the week. For us, center time increases social skills, problem-solving skills, and play time for my kindergarten students.

We look forward to recreating our classroom with new afternoon center choices, fun magnetic learning tools, and LEGOS!
