Help me give my students prizes they can earn for meeting learning goals. Plus, some hands on activities to help solidify the skills they are being taught.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have included items for my prize box. These prizes will be used as students meet learning goals. Plus, I am requesting some hands on activities I can use during small groups to reinforce what is being taught as a whole group. The light covers will allow for a softer light in the classroom which will create a warm and inviting environment.
My goals for this project it to get my students excited to come to school and gain a love for learning.
Kindergarten classrooms are the first experience most of the students have with school. The love created for learning will last their educational career.
Most of my students come from low income homes. They get very little help at home. Parents don't make them go to school. I need to help them gain a love for learning so they will beg to go to school.
