This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
First grade is a fun and exciting year in school. These red crayons would be used for learning our heart words on a bumpy screen. This allows my students to learn their words using multisensory learning. We go through many crayons as the screens leave the words bumpy so the students can trace it later with their fingers. The white board markers will be used throughout the year on our boards. The stickers and erasers would be used as a reward for the students as the meet many goals throughout the year. They love to collect stickers on their pencil boxes and their "desk pets" that they can read to. Something so small can bring a lot of joy.
