Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This year, I have a class full of energetic and eager 2nd graders! They deserve the best possible learning environment to help them grow and succeed as I know they can achieve so much!

When in my classroom, we are all scientists, teammates, authors, mathematicians, artists, dreamers, and world-changers. My students work every day to better ourselves to better the world we live in.
My Project
My second grade students are at all different levels in math and, therefore, they require a variety of math manipulatives to support and challenge them! Research shows that utilizing math manipulatives helps more quickly guide them towards mastery of math concepts.

Along with math manipulatives comes the need for organization. The storage included will help keep our materials organized so my students can be self sufficient and retrieve materials as needed. It will also help keep our classroom running smoothly by ensuring everything is always in its place!
