I want to provide the second grade with materials to end the school year on an exciting note! These materials would help allow us to give our students fun, thematic, and hands on activities. One of our themes will be: beach party: (reading on beach blankets, writing messages with chalk to write messages and directions to 'the beach', playdoh to use as sand castles, tie dying t-shirts, and party lights to make it all the more fun while the students enter the classroom.
Learning should be fun, and memorable!
I'm excited to see my students feel like they are playing while they are reading, writing, listening, and speaking!
