Fun Friendly Phonics Readers

Help me give my students decodable readers. We are working hard to help our students gain reading accuracy and fluency by being strong phonetic readers. These books will help us attain our goal.

My Students

My students are an enthusiastic group of kindergarteners who are eager to learn. They burst through the door each morning wondering what we will be learning that day. Within this group are children with diverse abilities, backgrounds and races.

Each child is valued for their unique set of talents and abilities and are an integral part of our school family.

No matter the challenges they face, whether it is academic, social or emotional they deserve the opportunity to excel and thrive in a safe nurturing environment, where we are all learning and growing together.

Each child deserves the opportunity to a high quality education, to develop a love for learning that will last a life time.

My Project

Covid-19 has made learning to read trickier for students and families. Most parent struggle to find easy books for their beginning readers. At school we are pushing phonics to help our students be successful, confident readers. We want to be able to put a book in each student's hand to take home weekly and practice the skills they've learned in class and that are on their specific reading level. This will make home reading for parents and students easier and more successful. Please help me provide this much needed resource for my students and their families.
